PLANTS OF THE QURAN

July 1st to the 6th 2026

- Mallorca, Spain -

Enter a sanctuary suspended in time, where the sea meets centuries-old olive groves, and be carried into an intimate retreat that invites you to fully inhabit the sacred world of the Plants of the Quran.

Originally constructed in the 13th century on ancient Muslims grounds, this historic monastery rises majestically within the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana mountain range of Mallorca, offering a rare haven of serenity high above the rhythms of the world below. As one walks its ancient corridors, the echoes of devotion that once filled these walls feel almost within reach.

Surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, guests are invited to rest in sweeping views of the Mediterranean, to breathe in the fragrant, sunlit air, and to let the tranquility of this place seep into the heart. And yet, just a five-minute drive away lies the enchanting village of Deià, a jewel of artistry and charm, alive with creativity, vibrant shops, and decadent cafés.

Our Sanctuary

The Retreat’s essence

Throughout the retreat, we will fully immerse ourselves in the beauty, blessings, and sacred symbolism of the plants mentioned in the Holy Qur’an: the olive, the pomegranate, the date, and the fig. As the Qur’an reminds us, “By the fig and the olive” (Surah At-Teen) and “We made the olive and the date a blessing” (Surah Al-An’am), these plants carry stories of divine provision, patience, and sustenance. Each day will be devoted to a particular plant, guiding you on a deeply immersive journey through its sights, stories, tastes, and subtle whispers of sacred wisdom.

All our workshops and meals will be thoughtfully and intentionally crafted in their honor, creating a true feast for the senses. From olive-inspired dishes and pomegranate-infused delicacies, to intimate date-and-coffee ceremonies and fig-centered ceramic creations, every bite, every gesture, and every moment will unfold as a celebration of Divine provision embodied in these sacred plants.

Guests are invited to wander through the surrounding olive groves, take quiet, contemplative walks along winding paths, or savor a cup of coffee in the nearby artistic town of Deià, letting their senses open to the rhythms of the land. Above all, this retreat is a sanctuary of sisterhood, connection, and deep rest, a sacred space where hearts may soften, spirits may expand, and the blessings of God’s bountiful earth can be fully felt, cherished, and carried home.
