The Women Sanctuary is a retreat led by women, created by women, and devoted to women of all paths.
Here, women are invited to immerse themselves in their spiritual realm, realigning with the Source of life itself,
At the heart of our sanctuary lies the journey back to the fitrah. In the Islamic tradition, the fitrah is the original essence placed within every human by God, a pure, innate disposition drawn toward truth, goodness, and an intimate awareness of the Divine. It is the quiet longing for the Beloved that dwells within each of us, subtle yet profound. Often unrecognized, this yearning may go unnoticed, leading us to search in ways that leave the heart restless, fractured, and unsettled. And yet, even in its quiet, the longing remains, whispering softly beneath the surface.
When we live in ways that stray from this innate nature, the heart feels uneasy, incomplete, and adrift. Returning to the fitrah is an invitation to listen again to that inner call, a gentle unfolding that allows the heart to soften, the soul to breathe, and the natural closeness to the Divine to return without effort.
Our retreats are devoted to this sacred return: a return to the part of the soul that remembers, that longs, that feels utterly at home in the presence of its Creator. Through intentional practices, women are gently guided to slow their pace and attune to the rhythms of the earth, discovering divine wisdom in every leaf, every breeze, and every whispered rustle of the natural world.
Within this intentional deceleration, women begin to blossom, quietly, powerfully. As the outer world quiets, the inner world begins to speak. The heart rests in remembrance. The rhythm of life softens.
Here, you will be deeply nourished, our retreats are celebrated for their abundant, soul-satisfying feasts, held tenderly, nurtured, and welcomed into a community of like-minded women. Yet there is also sacred space for quiet, intimate reflection: space to expand, to rest, to simply be.
This is your place of refuge.
Your Sanctuary.
“Come, come, whoever you are.
Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving.
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times.
Come, yet again, come, come.”
